TWO PPS OFFICERS AMONG FOUR PUNJAB POLICE OFFICIALS TO BE AWARDED CHIEF MINISTER'S RAKSHAK PADAK

SEVEN PPS OFFICERS AMONG 15 PUNJAB POLICE OFFICIALS TO BE CONFERRED WITH CHIEF MINISTER'S MEDAL FOR OUTSTANDING DEVOTION TO DUTY, DGP GAURAV YADAV THANKED CM BHAGWANT MANN LED PUNJAB GOVT FOR RECOGNISING SERVICES OF THE PUNJAB POLICE

On the recommendations of the Punjab Government, the Governor of Punjab on Monday announced the names of the Punjab Police officers/officials, to be awarded the Chief Minister’s Rakshak Padak award and Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty on the occasion of Independence Day-2023.

Two PPS officers from Anti-Gangster Task Force including AIG Sandeep Goel and DSP Bikram Brar are among four officials, who have been nominated for Chief Minister’s Rakshak Padak award. Two other officials include Inspector Pushwinder Singh and Constable Navneet Singh.

Similarly, seven PPS officers including SSP Ferozepur Bhupinder Singh, AIG Zonal CID Patiala Aalam Vijay Singh, SP Investigation Tarn Taran Vishaljeet Singh, DSP STF Ludhiana range Davinder Kumar, DSP Operations Sanjeevan Guru, DSP Flying Squad Vigilance Bureau Barinder Singh and DSP PAP Training Centre Jalandhar Subhash Chander Arora are among 15 officers/officials, who have been selected for the Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty.

The remaining officials include Inspector Shiv Kumar, SI Gurinder Singh, SI Suresh Kumar, SI Akshaydeep Singh, ASI Iqbal Singh, ASI Harwinder Singh, ASI Dinesh Kumar and ASI Surinder Pal Singh.

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav congratulated the awardees and thanked the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann for recognizing the services of the Punjab Police officers/officials. He said that such recognitions play a significant role in encouraging the Police force to work with more dedication and devotion.

DGP GAURAV YADAV CONGRATULATES AWARDEES OF THE UNION HOME MINISTER'S MEDAL FOR EXCELLENCE IN INVESTIGATION: DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav also congratulated Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chandigarh Kanwardeep Kaur and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP Headquarters) Patiala Dalbir Singh for being awarded with the “Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation” for the year 2023.
