As per the direction of Ms Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, under the guidanceofSh Mridul, IPS, W/SP/City and under the supervision of SDPO/Central, a drive being carried out to curb the drugs menace in the area, a team of SHO/PS-17, UT Chandigarh arrested Dalip Kumar S/O Sh. Sultan Plot no221phase-2 Ind. Area Panchkula Permanent Address Vill PathralaTeh. Garhshankar,Distt Hosiyarpur Punjab Age 42 yrs, in case FIR No. 131 dated 29.07.2023U/S 20 NDPS Act, PS-17 CHD, while he was carrying 15 kg 100 gm Ganja without any license or permit.
Brief facts of case:- On 29.07.2023 at about 07.05 PM, SI Suneel Kumar along with police party wasonpatrolling duty. When they reached Road near Circus Ground Sector-17 Chandigarh, theynabbed above person namely Dalip Kumar for carrying 15.kg 100 gm Ganja (गांजा) without any permit or license. Accused Dalip arrested on the spot and case property i.e. Ganja was recovered from his possession.
The accused was produced in the court and his 2 days police remand obtained to ascertain the source of drugs and to break the chain of drugs supplier
