The water level in the border villages of Fazilka is continuously going down. The level from the lower slab of Kawanwali bridge has gone down to 3.10 feet. The district administration continues to make adequate arrangements for the life and property of the people.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal said that keeping in mind the health of the people of the flood-affected areas of the border villages, medical teams are constantly going to the relief camps as well as the homes for checkups.(SUBHEAD)
The DC said that the situation has started to return to normal in the flood-affected areas. She said that the people visiting the relief camp at Sant Kabir College and Jhangar Bhaini are being checked up by the medical teams and necessary medicine is also being given. Apart from this, the flood affected people are being informed in advance to prevent the spread of any disease.
She said that green fodder was distributed in village Muhar Jamsher and other villages. The teams of animal husbandry department are also deployed in the villages, they are checking up the animals and treatment is also being done as per the need.
