CABINET MINISTER PAYS VISIT TO FLOOD AFFECTED AREAS

(MOREPIC1)(MOREPIC2)Ferozepur: Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO along with AAP MLAs Ranbir Singh Bhullar (Ferozepur Urban), Rajnish Dahiya (Ferozepur Rural), Fauja Singh Sarari (Guruharsahai) and Naresh Kataria (Zira) today visited the flood affected villages including Rukne Wala, Dheera Ghara, Nihala Lavera, Jallo Ke, Bandala, Hajara Singh Wala and took stock of the relief operations.

While interacting with the media persons, the minister said that the state government is with the people during this difficult time. “I assure you that the government will leave no stone unturned to help the people who became victim of nature’s wrath which has unleashed during the last few days”, said cabinet minister.(SUBHEAD)

“During the last few hours, the water level has decreased following which the relief work has been intensified. The administration has setup several relief camps where all kinds of facilities including medical aid, langar (community food), drinking water, beds and fodder (for animals) have been arranged”, said cabinet minister.

The minister also interacted with the BSF, Army, Police personnel and others who have been engaged in various rescue operations and lauded their efforts.
