Priamdeep Kaur of village Mandi Roranwali, has brought laurels to Fazilka district by getting the 15th rank in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering at national level. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal IAS offered sweets to the brilliant girl and presented a memento. ADC Avneet Kaur and AC Sarangpreet Singh were present.
Congratulating Priamdeep Kaur on her achievement, the DC said that she has shined the name of this border district, people are proud of her. She wished for her new journey in life as a scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Mumbai.
(SUBHEAD)Dr. Duggal said that girls are excelling in every field. They have done what no one would have thought in different fields. Now girls are fully equipped to overcome the difficulties of life and are not inferior in any way.
Priamdeep Kaur said that her farming family provided full support. She passed XII (Non-medical), followed by B.Sc. and M.Sc. After doing Chemistry Honors, she worked hard day and night for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam and achieved the goal.
On the occasion Priamdeep Kaur's father Amandeep Singh and grandmother Gurdayal Kaur were also present.
