GOOD GESTURE: BSF HANDS OVER PAKISTANI NATIONAL BACK TO THE RANGERS

The BSF troops deployed in forward area along the Indo-Pakistan border had apprehended a Pakistani national ahead of border fence following he crossed the International Border and entered into Indian territory in the area falling near village Hazara Singh Wala in this district today morning.

BSF officials said that during questioning, it came to notice that the apprehended Pakistani national had crossed over to Indian territory inadvertently and nothing objectionable was recovered from him.

Later, the BSF approached Pakistan Rangers and lodged protest on the matter. Thereafter, the apprehended Pakistan national, being an inadvertent border crosser, was handed-over to back to the Pakistan Rangers on humanitarian grounds in the evening.

BSF officials said that they always take humane approach, while dealing with inadvertent border crossers.
