Border Security Force (BSF) on specific information, alert BSF troops launched a search operation on the outskirts of bordering village – Dhanoe Kalan, Distt – Amritsar on Sunday during afternoon hours,
During search, troops recovered 02 packets of narcotic substance contained inside a bag (Gross wt – appx 2 Kg), from the farming fields of village – Dhanoe Kalan.
The consignment was discovered during harvesting of wheat crops.
The contraband valued Rs. ten crores in international market.
BSF spokesman from Jalandhar Punjab Frontier HQ, said, vigilant BSF troops once again thwarted the nefarious attempts of smugglers to smuggle contrabands.
