The lifespan of teeth can be extended only by brushing them correctly. Facial aesthetics depend on the beauty of the teeth. These views were expressed by Dr. Romika Wadhera, former president of the Indian Dental Association (IDA) Mohali, while raising awareness among people during a camp organized by Prayog Foundation under its project “Operation Dental Protector” at Wellness Woods in Peer Muchhala.

She said that people aged 12 to 60 years can experience dental problems. Dr. Kavita Sharma said that due to changes in dietary habits, dental diseases are continuously increasing. Dr. Divya Singla said that due to changes in lifestyle, the natural exercise of teeth has decreased, leading to a continuous increase in the problem of crooked teeth among young people. Dr. Vibha Bawa, director of Wellness Woods and Ojas Fitness Clinic and Education Center, educated people about health and wellness.

During the camp, with the help of Dr. Pratibha, approx. 100 people were examined and given free consultations. Sanjeev Sharma, president of Prayog Foundation, said, this was the 47th camp organized by the organization under “Operation Dental Protector.” In addition, about 50 awareness programs have been conducted. On this occasion, Prayog Foundation board member and renowned writer Seema Gupta, Vice President Navneet Sharma, Project In-charge Shivangi Bansal, Kavyansh Bawa, and several other dignitaries were present.
