NCC Cadet Sgt Himani (6 Punjab Battalion, Malout), a student of PM Shree Govt. Girls Sr. Secondary School Abohar, has secured All India Rank-2 in Snap Shoot Competition in All India Army Camp (AITSC-2025).

Medals and certificates were awarded by DG NCC in Delhi for this excellent achievement. A cash prize of Rs.3000 was also given by ADG.

Apart from this, the SW team also won the silver medal with their outstanding performance, in which Sgt Himani made a special contribution. Sergeant Himani's performance has brought pride not only to the NCC battalion and Ludhiana Group but also to the Directorate of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal and Chandigarh.

This great success would not have been possible without the motivational guidance of the Commanding Officer of 6 Punjab Battalion, Lt. Col. Gaurav Nyol who has always played a vital role in motivating the cadets and pushing them to new heights.

ANO Supneet Kaur also had a special contribution in this achievement, under whose guidance and encouragement Cadet Himani gave her best performance.
