AWARENESS SEMINAR HELD AT DAV COLLEGE, ABOHAR

The Red Ribbon Club of DAV College, Abohar, organized an awareness seminar. Mamta Jangid from the Political Science Department was the keynote speaker. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan introduced the purpose and significance of the event. He hoped that the Red Ribbon Club would continue to educate students on various topics, including social responsibility.

Coordinator Dr. Tarsem Sharma, in his opening remarks, enlightened the students to the work done by the Red Ribbon Club. The keynote speaker urged students to be vigilant about HIV/AIDS and highlighted the government's efforts being made to prevent it. She also raised awareness about the widespread misconceptions about blood donation, conveyed the message to promote blood donation, and warned students against drug abuse. The students listened enthusiastically.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan honored the guest speaker and expressed hope that the students would continue to benefit from such useful events. He encouraged students to participate in awareness programmes and follow the positive message. The stage was conducted by Dr. Neeraj Kumar.
