AWARENESS SESSION ON ORGAN AND TISSUE DONATION HELD

An awareness session on organ and tissue donation was conducted at Jaipur Military Station in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF). The session was marked by enthusiastic participation from military personnel and their families. The initiative is in alignment with the guiding principles of Sapta Shakti Command to ensure welfare and duty towards society, reflecting the Armed Forces’ continued commitment to social responsibility beyond the call of duty.

Experts from MOHAN Foundation highlighted the importance of organ and tissue donation, addressed common myths and misconceptions, and emphasised how one donor can save multiple lives. The session also provided detailed insights into the process of pledging organs and the legal and ethical aspects involved.

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command reiterated that this noble social cause will save precious lives contributing immensely towards humanity. Such initiatives not only strengthen awareness but also foster a culture of compassion, service, and collective responsibility, in line with the ethos of the Armed Forces and their enduring commitment to society. Participants expressed keen interest and appreciation for the informative session, acknowledging the importance of spreading awareness on such a life-saving initiative.
