Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab organized an Industry–Academia–HR Meet 2026 here on Monday evening. During the event, an MoU was signed with the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BoAT), Northern Region, Kanpur, for the implementation of Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programmes (AEDP).It the First MoU in North India in which student will get dual degree with apprenticeship which is govt approved and also get direct benefit transfer and student will earn , learn and grow
The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by integrating apprenticeships within degree programmes.
The programme focused on creating awareness about AEDP among HR professionals and industry representatives to enhance industry-academia collaboration and improve employability.
The event was graced by Mr. Vivek Kumar, Director, Board of Apprenticeship Training (BoAT), NR, Kanpur; he shared insightful thoughts and answered the queries in the question – answer session Mr. Nirmal Singh Rayat, Chancellor, Lamrin Tech Skills University appreciated and said we are hopeful for good outcomes. Dr. A S Chawla Vice Chancellor in his remarks said it will bridge the gap between academia and industries as per guidelines of New Education Policy.
Mr. Abhinav Madan, MD & CEO, and Mr Vaibhav Lernern Pvt. Ltd and also shared their valuable experience with audience. Mr. Sachin Jain Executive Director Corporate Relations said that
