50 BJP CANDIDATES FILE NOMINATIONS IN MLA JAKHAR’S PRESENCE

Abohar. For the Municipal Corporation elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates today filed the nomination papers, before SDM Ravinder Singh Arora, for all the 50 wards, under the leadership of MLA Sandeep Jakhar.

On the occasion, MLA Jakhar said that the pace of the city’s development has been hindered in recent times due to political animosity. “Our priority is to make Abohar the cleanest and most beautiful city in Punjab. We have fielded candidates in every ward who are accountable to the public.” Clarifying the main agenda of the election campaign, he added that the BJP’s objective is to provide a corruption-free administration in the city, ensure the provision of clean drinking water, and restart stalled development projects on a war footing.

The enthusiastic crowd of workers during the nominations infused the atmosphere with an electoral fervor, raising slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Sandeep Jakhar Zindabad.’ By filing nominations in all 50 wards, the BJP has sent a clear message that it is contesting this election with utmost seriousness and aggression.
