UNIQUE TAMBOLA WITH FILM SONGS: A MEMORABLE FUSION OF TRADITION AND ENTERTAINMENT

Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

Tambola organised in Sriganganagar last night was based on popular Hindi film songs. In the musical programme ‘Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya’ organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vaishya Maha Sammelan, the tickets given to guests had famous film song lines printed instead of numbers. Each ticket featured a different song.

The programme was held at Ashirwad Farm. On stage, Gurmukh Singh, Harish Arora, Rajni Saxena, Manoj Arya, Naval Khemka, and Vimal Bihani sang selected song mukhras and one antara each on karaoke tracks. Under the direction of music composer Manoj Arya, disciples Vivan Bihani and Jayant presented beautiful melodies on musical instruments. At the same time, the original video scenes of the songs were shown one by one on a big screen. Guests listened to the songs and tunes, watched the visuals on the screen, and marked their tickets accordingly.

In this musical Tambola, traditional rules were fully maintained. Sharda Saxena won the first Full House prize and was awarded a 40-inch LED TV. Other winners received microwave ovens, necklace sets, and cash prizes.

District President Vimal Bihani conducted the quiz in an interesting and impactful manner. Mentalist Manoj Jaju’s hypnotism mesmerised the audience. People were left stunned by his magic and hypnotism skills. Chief Guest Ajay Saraf, special guests Deepak Watts, Sunita Tantia, Narendra Changia, Praveen Kumar, Ajay Gupta, Shailendra Sahu, Deepak Middha, and a large number of prominent citizens were present.
