The RD Burman Fans Club (RDBFC), Sriganganagar, organized a memorable musical evening to mark the visit of Mumbai-based playback singer, music composer, and arranger Udbhav Ojha and TV actress Jaya Ojha.
During this three-hour-long ‘Musical Rendezvous,’ melodious songs from the ‘Golden Era’ of Bollywood filled the air, and local artists were also honored.

te Vinod Goyal and Founder-Convener Shailender Singh Chauhan informed that alongside Udbhav and Jaya, local singers and instrumentalists—Avinash Tiwari, Angel Middha, Lubhanu Priya, Dr. Sarita Upneja, Harish and Madhu Grover, Advocate Naval Khemka, Vinod Bihani, Parvinder Singh ‘Bhola Panchhi,’ Jagirchand Farma, Prem Chugh, and Lalit Doda—delivered melodious performances. Himank Gupta further enlivened the atmosphere by playing film tunes on the keyboard. The artist couple was honored by the organization.
The organization also felicitated couple Sher Singh and Sona Devi. Through their efforts and the mentorship of RDBFC, Dheeraj Bharti has achieved great proficiency in keyboard playing. The couple had ensured music education for all their children, thereby carrying forward the legacy of music guru Naresh Bharti.
Parvinder Singh ‘Bhola Panchhi,’ a resident of Sriganganagar, was also honored. Known nationally and internationally for traditional Punjabi Bhangra, the artist delivered a magnificent performance of a specific “Raga” on the mandolin. Additionally, Engineer Amandeep Kaur and Ankita Bishnoi were felicitated for their commendable contributions to the field of music. Pankaj Pahwa and Lubhanu Priya played the keyboards; Chand Sulemani handled the congas and tumbas; Kuldeep Arora played the pads; and Sunil Maurya provided accompaniment on the HandSonic and tabla. Shailender Singh Chauhan himself took charge of the percussion. The event was anchored by Lalit Doda and Prem Chugh, while Dr. Kusum Jain expressed gratitude to everyone.
