Sh.Vipul Goel   Cabinet Minister of Haryana  on Tuesday unveiled the Trophy of the First Edition of Late Shri.Om Prakash Goyal Memorial ( Social Worker of Haryana ) Women ( Seniors ) Twenty -20 Cash Prize Day / Night Cricket Tournament here at Hotel Red Bishop.

On this occasions Sh.Vipul Goel released Souvenir and  T Shirt for the Girls cricket tournanent . On this occassion Shree Swami Sampurnanand Brahmachari ,Smt.Latika Sharma , Chairperson of Haryana Sports Welfare Association (Regd ) & Treasurer of All india BJP Mahila Morcha, Mr.Pardeep Goyal , Chief Patron of Haryana Sports Welfare Asociation ( regd.) Mr.Ajay Mittal , Panchkula Distt .President of BJP Party , Mrs.Ranjeeta Mehta Vice Chairman of Haryana Sports Welfare Association ( regd ), Sh.Surinder kumar Goel , President , Secretary General Amarjit Kumar, Sh.Ashish Kumar Rai , Senior Vice President, Treasurer Anil Arya , Joint Secretary Inderjeet Singh & Vivek Jangra & all Print & electronic media were also Present.

Sh.Vipul Goel while addressing  the Media & Audience, said I really appreciate & congratulate the  Haryana Sports Welfare Association ( Regd.) Members, who are working hard to promote cricket at the grassroots level and engaged in providing a platform for budding / Juniors cricketers from rural/backward areas of the city. I extend best wishes to the organizers as they have been regularly promoting boys and girls cricket at Distt , State & National level and Tri City on a large scale for the last 22 years continioselly.

According to Chief Patron Pardeep Goyal & Amarjit kumar, Founder Secretary General of Haryana Sports Welfare Association ( regd.)  total 8 teams from North India confirmed their Participation in upcoming First Edition of Late Shri.Om Prakash Goyal Memorial Girls ( Seniors Twenty-20 Cash Prize day / Night Cricket Tournament at Try City Inderjeet Cricket ground from 8th July to 21st July.

The further said, that  the winning team will receive a cash prize of ₹51,000 with a  trophy, while the runner-up will receive a cash prize of ₹.31,000 and a magnificent runner-up trophy. Each participating team will play four league matches. The top 2-2 two teams of each pool will qualify for the day/night Semi-final, which will be played on July 20th at the Indrajeet Day/Night Tri-City Cricket ground affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Cricket Association. The Grand Day/ Night final match will.played on 21st July.

The main objective of the “Beti Khilao” program is to regularly organize women’s (senior) cricket tournaments based on the theme of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” (a social campaign of the Government of India aimed at promoting and creating awareness about the welfare of girls). Since its inception, the Haryana Sports Welfare Association (Regd.) has been consistently organizing high-quality cricket tournaments for men and women in Haryana and India, especially in rural areas, for the past 22 years.

The organizing committee will also award trophies, cricket equipment, and water shakers to the “Woman of the Match,” “Best Batsman,” “Best Bowler,” “Best Fielder,” “Best Wicketkeeper,” and “Best All-Rounder.” White match balls, mineral water, and refreshments will also be provided by the organizing committee. The final match will be played day/night and will be broadcast live on the Chandigarh Tri-City Sports Channel and India’s cricket site, CricHero.

Eight North Zone Girls ( Seniors ) confirned teams are:  Mahajan Cricket Academy,Chandigarh, .Aujla Cricket Club, Punjab , Narwal Cricket Academy, Karnal, Haryana , .CWN Cricket Academy , Punjab,  Women’s Cricket Community, Chandigarh, TSM sports, Chandigarh,  Womens Community Cricket Club, Try city and  Dairing eagles cricket club , Try city, said Amarjit Kumar Secretary General.
