The election meeting of the Pradeshik Maheshwari Sabha of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir was held at Maheshwari Bhawan in Faridabad. A large number of regional officials and distinguished members of the society from all the four states participated in the meeting. A new executive was formed unanimously. Abohar’s social worker Pramil Kalani was elected as Treasurer and Ritesh Mundra as Joint Secretary.
Ramesh Rathi from Abohar, Satish Maheshwari from Bahadurgarh and Mahesh Jhanwar from Gurugram performed their responsibilities as election officers in the meeting. Under their supervision the new executive was unanimously selected.
In the new executive, Mahesh Gattani was appointed as the regional president, Jagdish Mantri Bathinda as the general secretary, Pramil Kalani as the treasurer and Ritesh Mundra was elected as the joint secretary. Senior officials Rakesh Rathi and Pradeep Periwal, who arrived on behalf of Kendriya Maheshwari Mahasabha, greeted all the officials. They expressed confidence that the new team will do effective work for social welfare, expansion of the organization and connecting the young generation with the society. They also called for carrying forward various schemes aimed at promoting social unity, education, service and values. The meeting concluded with the resolution of community unity, organizational strength and spirit of service.
