The first Panchkula District Cash Prize Gully Cricket Tournament for Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Trophy will be held in Panchkula district from 4 October to 12 October by Sports Promotion Society (Regd.).
According to former Speaker of Haryana Legislative Assembly and Chairman of Sports Promotion Society (Regd.), Mr. Gyan Chand Gupta, the first Panchkula District Cash Prize Gully Cricket Tournament will be held in the name of Atal Trophy.
A total of 180 cricket teams from the entire Panchkula district will participate in this Atal Trophy Cricket Tournament. According to Mr. Gian Chand Gupta, the winning team will be given Rs 1 lakh and a glittering trophy. The runner-up team will also be given Rs 51 thousand and a glittering trophy.
(SUBHEAD)Five best players of the tournament will also be given cash prize of Rs. 5100/- each and trophy. All the matches of Atal Trophy Cricket Tournament will be played in 6 different cricket grounds across Panchkula district. Grand opening ceremony will be held on 4th October at 6:00 pm at TDL Sports Complex, Sector-3, Panchkula and grand closing and prize distribution ceremony will be held on 12th October at TDL Cricket Stadium, Panchkula.
Mr. Gian Chand Gupta, Chairman said that Sports Promotion Society (Regd.) will provide colorful uniforms and hygienic refreshments free of cost to all participating teams. According to Mr. Gian Chand Gupta there is no entry fee for participating teams. According to Mr. Gian Chand Gupta, Aadhar Card is mandatory for each participating player as proof of Panchkula district. Technical supervisors, umpires and scorers qualified by BCCI will be deployed for Atal Trophy, the first major street cricket competition of Panchkula district.
