Several employees were found seated at workstations and making calls through keypad mobile phones. They were allegedly contacting policyholders of various insurance companies, including PNB MetLife, SBI Insurance, ICICI Lombard and Bharti AXA, while posing as representatives of the respective companies.

During enquiry, the owner and administrative staff failed to produce satisfactory authorisation documents from any bank or insurance company to substantiate their authority to contact policyholders or obtain their personal data.

The telecallers allegedly approached policyholders while impersonating insurance company representatives and offered policy upgrades, insurance-related benefits and other attractive schemes. Interested customers were then referred through managerial and HR/Admin staff to the owner.

The managerial staff allegedly discussed and negotiated the proposed deals with customers and forwarded their details to the owner. The owner allegedly coordinated the final transactions and provided bank account details for the transfer of money.

Employee identity cards bearing the name “AMSR Wealth Creators Pvt. Ltd.” were being used at the premises. A WhatsApp group titled “AMSR Daily Reporting” was allegedly used to share daily work updates and customer leads. Employees were reportedly paid their salaries exclusively in cash.
