Search for Rs 15 lakh Punjab State Lottery prize winner ended on Monday. Harpal Singh, a mason and resident of village Ghallu, had purchased the ticket from Mihir Lottery Center. He had been buying lottery tickets consistently for the past 5–6 years. While he used to buy Rs 6 tickets earlier, he had recently started purchasing Rs 50 tickets as well.
He used to visit the Gurudwara Sahib in Baba Deep Singh Nagar every Sunday to perform Sewa, and it was during this time that he began buying lottery tickets. Harpal Singh stated that he had complete faith in Waheguru that he would win the lottery one day. Eventually, by Waheguru’s grace, the Rs 50 ticket changed his life. He and his family were overjoyed upon hearing the news of the Rs 15 lakh win.
He said that the prize money would first be used to repay the loan taken to build his house. Subsequently, the funds would be spent on his children’s education so that they could study well and build a bright future. Pradeep Pasricha and Prashant Pasricha, the operators of Mihir Lottery Center, mentioned that a Rs 15 lakh winning ticket had been sold at their shop a few days prior, but the winner remained unidentified and a search was underway.
Today, Harpal Singh contacted them to check his lottery ticket. Upon verification, it was revealed that the winner for whom search was going on. The Pasricha brothers greeted him with sweets.
