During a program in Abohar by All India Scheduled Caste Yuvjan Samaj (Punjab), various office bearers were appointed while constituting the new team of Patiala Zone of the organization. Addressing the program, NGO’s Punjab chief Engineer Gopi Chand Sandar said that the main objective of the organization is to bring equality in the society, which is possible only through education. When every section of the society becomes educated, then social evils like drug addiction will automatically be controlled.
Sandar said that the program of formation of Patiala Zone team has been kept in Abohar because this area shares borders with Rajasthan and Pakistan. The trend of drug addiction is continuously increasing in the area. The aim of the organization is to make the society aware by bringing forward educated youth and to create a discrimination-free society where all people can live together. He clarified that All India Scheduled Caste Yuvjan Samaj has been continuously working in the interest of society since 1979. The organization has no connection with any political party. Our sole aim is to unite and empower the society.
On this occasion, Senior Vice President Karamjit Singh Lachkani Patiala, Raju Sahota Patiala, Dalbir Singh Patiala, Radhey Shyam Megh, Siya Ram, Yudhvir Singh Bazidpur Bhoma, Monu Arya, Narendra Singh Fazilka, Karna Lang, Komalpreet Singh Pradhan Valmiki Samaj, Lakhbir Singh Sahota Vice President Valmiki Committee Lachkani, Anurag Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Sunny Kumar, Anmol were among those present.
