EID-MILAD-UN-NABI PROCESSION: TRICOLOUR, FLOWER SHOWERING FOSTER HARMONY

On the auspicious occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi—the birthday of Prophet Muhammad—Sriganganagar witnessed not only a display of religious faith but also a vibrant example of communal harmony and national unity. People from various sections of the city, alongside the Muslim community, participated enthusiastically in the grand procession organized under the aegis of the All India Ulama & Mashaikh Board (AIUMB).

The procession from Madina Masjid, led by District Imam Jan Mohammad Hakki, traversed the city’s main thoroughfares before concluding successfully. Participants held the Tricolour aloft and raised slogans of “Hindustan Zindabad” (Long Live India). Throughout the event, a strong message of peace, national unity, and interfaith harmony was conveyed. Citizens from all communities welcomed their Muslim brethren by showering flowers on them as the procession passed through various parts of the city.

Spokespersons Muzaffar Ali and Ahmed Qazi, said that a large number of people from other communities joined the Muslim community in the procession. A significant number of women were also seen participating. Prayers were offered for peace and tranquillity in the country. The event was organized under the guidance of Syed Mohammad Ashraf Kachhauchhvi, National President of the All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board. Notable attendees included District Imam Hafiz Aftab Alam, Maulana Altaf Hussain, Hafiz Imran Ashrafi, Maulana Rehan Raza, Hafiz Irshad Ashrafi, Maulana Ayub Khan, Maulana Rahmat Ali, Maulana Abdul Hafiz, Haji Mohammad Hussain, Junaid Khan, Latif Hussain, Arshad Khan, Mohammad Sharif, Khalil Mohammad, Haider Khan, and Salim Chopdar. Alongside religious faith, the national flag and the message of harmony among all religions transformed this event into a symbol of the entire city’s unity.
