In a major breakthrough, the team of District Crime Cell Sector-24, Chandigarh Police acting upon the direction of W/SSP Ms.KanwardeepKaur and close guidance of DSP/DCC Sh. P. Abhinandan, under the supervision of Insp. Jasbir Singh got a major success by arresting one person namely Satyam @ Jatin S/o Sh. Kallu R/o H.NO. 559, Sector-38 West, Chandigarh, Age-19 yearsalongwith one country made Pistol.
Case FIR No. 105 dated 30.08.2026 U/s 25-54-59 Arms Act, PS-Maloya, Chandigarh.
In view of prevention and detection of crime in the city, on 30.08.2026, the team of DCC, Sector-24 Chandigarh apprehended one person namely Satyam @ Jatin S/o Sh. Kallu R/o H.NO. 559, Sector-38 West, Chandigarh, Age-19 yearsfrom cremation ground sector-25 towards front of the Sports Complex Sec 38 West, Chandigarh and recovered one country made Pistol from his possession. Further investigation is still going on.
