SPECIAL CAMPS ON SEPTEMBER 6 UNDER SPECIAL INTENSIVE REVISION (SIR)-2026

District Election Officer Fazilka Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu has said that according to the schedule of ‘Special Intensive Revision’ (SIR)-2026 in Punjab, September 12 has been fixed for voters to register claims and objections. During which Form No. 6, 6-A and 8 can be filled online (via Voter Helpline App) or offline (at the concerned Electoral Registration Officer and BLO).

A special camp is being organized by BLOs (Booth Level Officers) on 6th September 2026 (Sunday) from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm at all the polling stations of the district to receive claims and objections from the general public and voters during 2026. During this camp, all the BLOs will be present at their polling booths and provide necessary information to the voters regarding filling notice forms and claims-objections.

During the camp, the booth level agents (BLAs) appointed by all the recognized political parties of the district will support the BLOs in claim and objection work and ensure registration of maximum number of eligible voters through their party workers.

Any citizen who has attained the age of 18 years or above as on Eligibility Date 1st October 2026 should fill up Form No. 6 to add his name to the electoral roll and Form No. 8 to correct the details entered in the voter card and submit it to the BLOs present at the polling booths.
