MEDIA PERSONS MUST BECOME “BRANDED” FROM WITHIN TO DELIVER GOOD CONTENTS: SAIFI

At the National Media Conference, organised by the Media Wing of the Brahmakumaris in Mansarovar, Abu Road, on the theme “Powerful Media for Building a Better World,” CEO of Bharat News Network Delhi Sarfaraz Saifi said that people often accept viral posts as true but do not verify them. Media persons will become “branded” from within when they follow the principles of all religions. He said there is a great need for everyone to be positive in the present times, and the Brahma Kumaris are doing good work in this direction.

Man Singh Parmar, former vice-chancellor of Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication; said that the world needs peace, unity and trust – a world that can connect human beings with one another. He strongly said that India’s Constitution also speaks of universal brotherhood and that India’s culture has been very ancient.

Rana Yashwant, editor-in-chief of News India TV; giving examples related to AI, said artificial intelligence is today playing the role of an assistant for people in many areas, but through AI there is a global race to create a power that will be beyond human control. “In this era of science and technology, if we do not realise that we are all standing at a very dangerous turning point, then we are mistaken,” he said.

Sanjay Dwivedi, head of the Department of Mass Communication at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal said that journalism today needs courage and spirituality. The foundation of Indian journalism, he said, is mission-oriented journalism.

BK Karuna Bhai, General Secretary of Brahmakumaris said all of us should work together so that India becomes a world guru. National Coordinator BK Shantanu expressed thanks to all.
