Chandigarh Police achieved a major success when the police team of Police Station Sector-39, under the directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, I.P.S, W/S.S.P and Sh Vijay Singh, SP City under the supervision of Sh Dhiraj Kumar D.A.N.I.P.S, SDPO/South West, & Inspector J.P Singh SHO/PS Sector-39 constitute a team in view of Snatchings/Robbery incidents in the city & a team comprising SI Karan Singh etc & worked out the sensational cases of Robbery by arresting accused Rohit S/o Rakesh R/o House No. 3330, Sector-25-D, Chandigarh Age-24 years & Raj Kumar S/o Sh Sham Lal R/o House No. 427, DMC, Chandigarh Age-25 years with in few time.

The guidelines/directions followed by the team resultantly police party of police station Sector-39, Chandigarh busted a gang of Robbers and workout the sensational case of Robbery. The brief facts of the case register in PS-39 is as under:-

Complainant Anil Kumar reported that while he has parked on his motorcycle (CH 01 CJ 4265) near Sector 25/38 dividing road and was talking on his mobile phone, in the meantime, four unknown youngsters restrained him way. One of them put a dagger to his throat & threatned him, while another snatched his wallet containing ₹5,000 cash, RC, DL, and PAN Card. The accused threatened to kill him and fled towards Sector 25 Chandigarh.
