MYSTERY SHROUDING BEHEADED BODY OF UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN GETS DEEPER

Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

The Post-mortem findings of a decapitated body found in the Hanumangarh Road canal about 9 days ago has made the mystery deeper. The police kept calling it a dead body of a “person”. When the post-mortem of the dead body was done at Faridkot Medical College on the ninth day, it was revealed that the body was that of a woman. The police handed over the body to Nar Seva Narayan Seva Samiti.

Samiti chief Raju Charaya said that about 9 days ago, an unknown dead body, wearing black pent was found in the canal. Being old, it was difficult to identify it due to the throat being rotten. With the help of the Samiti, the police had kept it for identification and post-mortem. After 9 days, the post-mortem indicated that the body was that of a woman. This afternoon the organization cremated the body of the deceased woman with Hindu rituals.

For so many days, there was publicity in the social and print media about the recovery of a decapitated body. If it was found out in time that the body was not that of a young man but that of a woman, then perhaps the family of the missing/deceased young woman would have come to identify her. The mystery of the woman’s suspected murder would have been solved because the body found in the canal had neither its head nor legs, but its hands were also chopped off. Now none would be able to know who was the victim and the culprit.
