The first general body meeting (GBM) of newly elected executive committee of Indian Institute of Architects, Punjab Chapter held in Patiala today where all the newly elected office bearers and executive members were recognised.
First of all there was last GBM of the previous term 2023 to 2026, which was presided by Chairman – Ar. Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia, who explained in detail about the achievements of Punjab Chapter during that duration.It was attended by majority of the previous term office bearers and executive members.
City-based Architect Sanjay Goel, who was immediate past Chairman in the previous term explained in detail about the achievements of the body and upcoming programmes at Ludhiana, Delhi, Mumbai, and many more parts of the country.After last GBM of the previous term, it was a turn of first GBM of the new term 2026–2028 and again Ar. Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia as Chairperson, Ar. Dinesh Bhagat as vice chairperson, Ar. Rajinder Sandhu as treasurer, Ar. Rajan Tangiri as joint secretary, Ar Sanjay Sharma as joint secretary, and executive members present on the occasion were Ar. Arora, Ar Sanchi Goel, Ar. Pooja Virmani, Ar. Brara, Ar. Manisha, Ar. Simranjot Singh, Ar. Sehgal and Ar. Prabhpreet Singh elected by architects from all over Punjab.
All newly elected members announced that they will work wholeheartedly for all the IIA members in Punjab chapter.
Meeting was also attended by architects LR Gupta, Gyanchand Agarwal, Varunesh Kumra, Indu Arora, Akshay Goyal, and many more.
