TWO GROUPS CLASH DURING RAMLILA IN ABOHAR, PEOPLE QUESTION SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS

Abohar (Face2News).

The atmosphere turned tense in Abohar last night following a clash between two groups during the Ramlila, which is being organized by the Ram Natak Club at the old Market Committee site. Reports indicate that significant damage occurred, including the destruction of chairs. Such recurring incidents during the Ramlila have raised questions regarding inadequate security arrangements by City-1 police.

According to reports, the Ramlila is being organized by the Ram Natak Club with the support of local residents. Members and office-bearers of the organization have been working tirelessly to stage episodes from the life of Lord Shri Ram.

However, the organizers state that certain miscreants frequently disrupt the event by instigating fights. Last night’s altercation between two groups resulted in damage to chairs, further compounding the difficulties faced by the organizers.

Two significant days of the Ramlila remain. The episode depicting Dussehra is scheduled for Tuesday night, while the coronation (Rajtilak) of Lord Shri Ram will be staged on Wednesday night.

The organizers have urged the police administration to deploy sufficient personnel at the venue to prevent any further disputes and ensure the event concludes peacefully.
