CLOTHES AND SWEETS DISTRIBUTED TO NEEDY CHILDREN ON DIWALI

Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the ‘Hare Ka Sahara Trust’—dedicated to the principles of Seva (Service), Sanskar (Values), and Sahara (Support)—distributed new clothes and sweets to children in need.

Members of the Trust visited the grain market to celebrate Diwali with the children, aiming to bring smiles to their faces. The children expressed their joy upon receiving the new clothes and thanked the Trust members.

Present on the occasion were the Trust’s President, Krishan Sharma; Secretary, Rajiv Verma; along with Ravinder Dhaka, Shubham Shakya, Mangat, Kartavya Sharma and others.

Krishan Sharma said that the Trust’s aim is to serve those in need not just during festivals, but throughout the entire year. The Trust has been actively involved in various initiatives, including providing assistance to impoverished families, supporting children’s education and clothing needs, feeding the hungry, aiding the sick and the vulnerable, organizing blood donation drives, facilitating healthcare services, and conducting social awareness campaigns.

The Trust has also issued an appeal to everyone: keep *diyas* (oil lamps) and candles away from children; ensure that firecrackers are burst only in open spaces and under the supervision of adults; take special care of the elderly, the sick, and animals/birds; keep water and first-aid supplies nearby; and celebrate a clean and safe Diwali while being mindful of the environment
