The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha was honored with 18 commendation letters from community organizations at the third annual BAPS Swaminarayan Research Institute (BSRI) conference in Sydney, Australia. These letters highlight the positive impact BAPS has made spiritually and in fostering social harmony.

The conference was held at the newly opened BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir and Cultural Precinct, the theme was ‘Timeless Teachings from Hindu Mandirs’. The event featured enlightening speeches by senior BAPS sadhus and a children’s dance performance.

(SUBHEAD)Drawing on his extensive experience as a community leader and elected representative, Warren Kirby, State Member of Parliament for Riverstone, spoke about the vital role places of worship play in society. He said, “Mandirs are essential in preparing the next generation with the tools they need to face life’s challenges. They teach language and culture that has lasted for thousands of years, instilling a strong sense of self.”

A standout moment of the conference was the demonstration of unity by community organizations, who signed a pledge to embody the enduring values of love, peace, and harmony inspired by Mahant Swami Maharaj, by fostering a more inclusive, united, and compassionate society.
