Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

In a major jolt to Manpreet Singh Ayali a large number of grass root leaders expressed their confidence and stout support in favour of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) as well as Sukhbir Singh Badal.

A large number of Circle Jathedars of Dakha, Sarpanches and grass root leaders met Sukhbir Singh Badal at his residence in Badal village and made it clear that the SAD had their unstinted support and that they would never align with the splinter group led by Manpreet Ayali.

(SUBHEAD)The leaders said their forefathers had made immense sacrifices for the Panth and always supported the SAD through thick and thin. They said they too would support Sukhbir Badal who they asserted had always safeguarded the interests of the Panth and Punjab.

Badal thanked the leaders for their support and said he would always safeguard regional aspirations and would never compromise the interest of Punjab for the sake of power.

Earlier the leadership of Dharamkot met the former SAD President and said they would always side with the parent party and would not be misled by the defamatory campaign of few opportunists who wanted to damage the SAD as well as Sikh institutions.

Workers of Nihalsinghwala, Lambi and Baghapurana also met Mr Badal and expressed their unstinted support to the SAD as well as its leadership.
