In a proud moment for Haryana, the Haryanvi short film 'Basta' has secured the second position at the recently concluded Nagpur Film Festival in Maharashtra. This achievement not only brings recognition to the village of Danoda in Haryana but also boosts the morale of the Haryanvi film industry.

According to Dr. Jagdeep Nain, the success of the film is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team, particularly the two young actors, Pdeep Nain Arjun and Shivraj Goyat, who played the roles of Lord Krishna and Arjun respectively. Both actors have been passionate about filmmaking since their college days, and their enthusiasm has now translated into a successful film career.

(SUBHEAD)'Basta' was produced under the banner of TRP Production House, founded by filmmaker Shivraj Goyat. Goyat revealed that the film's writer and director, Pdeep Nain, and co-producer, Akint Agarwal, worked tirelessly to bring the story to life. The film was shot in the village of Kakrod in Jind district.

The story of 'Basta' revolves around the life, struggles, and innocence of a rural child, highlighting his desires and aspirations. The film features a talented cast, including Ayush Pawar, Geetu Pari, Rakesh Saini, Devsuman, and Simi Agarwal.

Actress Neetu Haryanvi expressed her pride in the growing recognition of Haryanvi language and culture in the film industry. She stated, “There was a time when people who spoke Haryanvi were looked down upon. But now, Haryanvi songs, films, and web series are making a mark on big platforms.”

The film's success has been acknowledged with congratulatory messages and advice from renowned filmmakers. Ramesh Chahal, Shivraj Goyat, Master Roopendra Goyat, and Sarpanch Jitendra, Rajendra Nain Thakkar, and others have extended their best wishes to the team, assuring their support for future film projects.
