The sleuths belonging to Counter Intelligence (CI) wing of Punjab police have arrested two smugglers and have recovered one kg heroin from them.
(SUBHEAD)While divulging details, AIG Lakhbir Singh said that following the inputs, the accused identified as Sandeep Singh @ Lala resident of Mumbe ke village and Paramjit Singh alias Bhutti resident of Asif wala village (both in Fazilka district), were nabbed near Punjab University Constitute College in village Mohkam Khan Wala.
The AIG said that during the frisking one kg heroin had been recovered from them. “An FIR No. 22 dated 20-11-2024 under sections 21-C,29/61/85 of NDPS Act at State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Fazilka has been registered against both the accused. Both of them will be produced before the Court for police remand so that more important information could be revealed from them”, said AIG Lakhbir
