UT GIRLS THRASHED TRIPURA CONVINCINGLY BY EIGHT WICKETS

UT girls thrashed Tripura convincingly by eight wickets at the ongoing Women Seniors T20 tournament being played at Lucknow.

Tripura won the toss and opted to bat first. Team scored 101/6 runs wherein opener M Debnath scored the highest 37 runs. Jyoti Kumari took four wickets for Chandigarh. In reply, unbeaten Aaradhana Bisht (39) and Shivangi (20) steered Chandigarh to achieve the target in the 19th over with the loss of two wickets. Monika Pandey added 23 runs. 

Col CK Nayudu Trophy: Chandigarh lost by an innings and 83 runs to Tamil Nadu UT boys faced an embarrassing defeat of an innings and 83 runs against host Tamil Nadu on the third day of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy match being played in Tripur. The hosts had scored 335 runs after bowling out Chandigarh for just 131 runs and secured a massive lead of 204 runs. In reply, Chandigarh was all out for just 121 runs. Resuming their day from 38/4 , Chandigarh added 83 more runs to their total. Harshit was the top scorer with 28 runs. Sunny took five wickets.
