SAPTA SHAKTI ENGINEERS ORGANISE A SEMINAR

As part of the Indian Army’s initiative of having declared 2024 as the ‘Year for Technology Absorption’, the Sapta Shakti Engineers organised a seminar on Thursday to chart out a ‘Transformational Roadmap for Technology Absorption Towards Faster and Sustainable Infrastructure Development’. The path breaking event was presided by Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Sapta Shakti Command. 

The seminar brought together leading experts from IITs and Industry to discuss the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, rapid construction techniques, and sustainable engineering practices. The event also witnessed a display of an array of latest products in the field of construction engineering. 

(SUBHEAD)Participants explored AI’s transformative role in Project planning and contract management, along with discussions on precast construction and pre-engineered buildings for faster, cost-effective infrastructure development. Sessions also dwelled upon the latest technologies to prevent leakage, seepage and efflorescence in buildings while identifying innovative and latest solutions for improved quality and durability. 

The Army Commander highlighted the urgent needs to embrace cutting edge technology so as to revolutionize infrastructure development with better speed and quality. 

The event saw robust participation from military engineers, IIT Professors, Industry leaders, and research scholars, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
