CHARAS SUPPLY FROM NEPAL TO DELHI NCR

RECOVERED 7.134 KG FINE QUALITY CHARAS TOTAL WORTH RS. 70 LACS IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET, ACCUSED WERE SUPPLYING CHARAS TO CUSTOMERS THROUGH PORTER APP IN DELHI NCR AS WELL AS THROUGH DIRECT DELIVERY.. THE RECOVERED CHARAS WAS BROUGHT/SMUGGLED FROM NEPAL FOR SUPPLY TO DELHI NCR.

A team of Special Cell/TYR, led by Inspr. Sunil Teotia, under the supervision of Sh. Kailash Bisht, ACP/TYR, has arrested two persons namely Ms. Mamita Lama @ Napisha W/o Naveen, Age-29 Yrs and Naveen @ Nabin S/o Rudra Ranabhat , Age-26 Yrs., both R/o Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar, Delhi.Total 7.134 KG fine quality Charas has been recovered from the house of the accused persons. 

The Trans Yamuna Range of Special Cell has been assigned the task of keeping watch over the activities of party drug suppliers in Delhi. So, the team has been keeping watch over the activities of such syndicates. In this process, on 13.09.2024, a specific information was received that one lady namely Mamita Lama along with her husband Naveen @ Nabin is involved in supplying drugs from her house in Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar, Delhi. Acting swiftly on the information, a team of TYR/Special Cell, swung into action, and a raid was conducted at Flat no.xx Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar, Delhi. During the search of the above flat total 7.134 KG of Charas was recovered.

(SUBHEAD)Mr. Amit Kaushik, DCP, TYR&SR/Special Cell, said, a criminal case under the appropriate sections of law was registered against them in this regard and the accused were arrested and their police remand was taken. Efforts are on to identify the forward and backward chain of the syndicate. Further investigation in this matter is in progress. 
 
KNOW THE ACCUSED , INTERROGATION AND CRIMINAL HISTORY

Mamita Lama W/o Naveen @ Nabin : Accused Mamita Lama was born and brought up in Vill & PO Lunchok Karre, PS Nomile, Distt.-Namchi, Sikkim and has studied up to 7th class. In the year 2012, she came to Delhi and started working in a saloon in South Extension, Delhi. She met Naveen @ Nabin in her saloon and they became good friend. In year 2020, Naveen met with one person, who lured him to supply the Charas and earn money for better life. She started supplying charas along with Nabin. They received the demand of Charas on their phone on WhatsApp and then deliver the Charas to customers by booking a parcel on Porter App at the address given by the customer.

Naveen @ Nabin S/o Rudra Ranabhat-: Accused Naveen Ranabhat was born and brought up in Vill.-Bhirkot, Distt.-Tanahun, PS.-Rishing, Nepal and has studied up to 10th class. In the year 2014 he came to Delhi for work and started working as cook in a Hotel in Janakpuri, Delhi. He met Mamita Lama in a saloon in South Extension, Delhi and they became good friend. In year 2020 he met with one person, who reside in khanpur Delhi and involved in supply of Opium and Charas. The said person lured him to supply the Charas and earn money for better life. Which he started along with Mamita Lama.
