In a commendable gesture, prominent social activist Vipul Narang from Ferozepur has provided crucial support to Komal, a former student of Punjab University, Chandigarh and an emerging boxing athlete. Komal, who lost her arm in an unfortunate accident, was struggling to acquire a prosthetic arm due to her family's challenging financial situation.

(MOREPIC1)Recognizing her plight, Vipul Narang, with the support of the “Manukhta di Sewa Sab to Waddi Sewa” in Ludhiana, arranged for an electric prosthetic arm for Komal, costing approximately ₹1.5 lakh.

Expressing his gratitude, Gurpreet Singh Mintu, a noted social worker, praised Vipul Narang's efforts, stating that serving humanity is the highest form of service. He emphasized that those who are capable should step forward to help the underprivileged, the disabled, and those in need. With this prosthetic arm, Komal will now be able to carry out her daily activities with ease.

Komal and her brother expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Humanity Service Society, especially to Vipul Narang, for their invaluable assistance in making this possible.

It is worth noting that Vipul Narang has previously shown great dedication in supporting the disabled by providing prosthetic limbs, spearheading large-scale eyewear distribution projects, organizing blood donation drives, and helping needy students and patients.

The event was attended by Ashok Behl, Secretary Red Cross Ferozepur, Dr. Satinder Singh, National Awardee Principal, teacher Rajan Manakutala, Guru Harshaya, his wife Seema, and Avtar Singh.
