Delivering the Valedictory blessings at the National Media Conference at the Brahma Kumaris’ Mansarovar complex, Abu Road; B.K. Mohini Didi, Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris, provided a spiritual framework for the delegates, outlining four pillars of a fortunate life: mastering thought power, maintaining physical vibrations of peace despite modern anxieties, utilizing wealth correctly, and cultivating universal friendship by viewing everyone as a soul. Acknowledging the extreme pressures of the newsroom, she advised journalists to remain untouched by the world’s negativity, comparing the ideal reporter to a lotus flower that sparkles even when surrounded by muddy waters.

B.K. Sarala presented the resolution outlining a strategic roadmap to restore journalistic integrity. A core mandate of the newly passed Action Plan is a formal call to establish a National Media Council to resolve ongoing issues across various forms of media.

The intense mental and societal toll of the current media environment was highlighted by Dr. Vikas Singh, Dean of AAFT, Noida Film City. He shared a stark anecdote of a stressed media professional who had to take his own daughter to a psychiatrist because she had become terrified of him. Umanath Singh, Senior Editor (Digital) at Prasar Bharti News Service, New Delhi, acknowledged that contemplating peace is exceptionally difficult in an era dominated by global wars, but praised the organizational efforts to awaken necessary spiritual resilience within the press. Mala Karn, Editor of Kalyanpost Daily in Nepal, noted that journalism must preserve people-to-people relationships that transcend borders, reminding attendees that the pen remains mightier than the sword.

Media Wing national coordinator BK Shantanu expressed thanks to all the delegates and speakers.
