BAPS SWAMINARAYAN MANDIR HONG KONG CELEBRATES DASHABDI MAHOTSAV

Hundreds of devotees celebrated Dashabdi Mahotsav of BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Hong Kong.

(MOREPIC1) The celebrations commence with Bhakti Sangeet, in which Yogiprem Swami enthralled the audience by the bhajans in various Indian languages.

Children and youth presented a fascinating skit titled ‘Mandir mein Prabhu Virajate hain’, highlighting the vital role mandirs play in nurturing spiritual and moral values.

Pujya Viveksagar Swami gave practical insights into the ‘Aksharam Aham Purushottam Dasosmi’ mantra imparted by Mahant Swami Maharaj.

Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami explained the three pillars of Hinduism – Scriptures, Mandirs and Sant – and discussed how mandirs uphold our values and traditions. He further elaborated on how to sustain and nurture satsang in future generations.

Dharmavatsal Swami spoke about how mandirs inspire value-based living by sharing real-life stories. Rajababu Gupta and Vasantbhai Jethva, two founding members of BAPS in Hong Kong, provided a brief history of the remarkable social and spiritual activities conducted by the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir over the past decade.

He spoke about the life, work, and message of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and how this message has spread across the world. He also highlighted the contributions of our gurus, swamis, and devotees in promoting the practical spirituality advocated by Bhagwan Swaminarayan.

Consul General of India to Hong Kong, Satwant Khanalia; Consul K. Venkata Ramana; former District Council member of Kowloon City District, Admond Yue were among the distinguished guests.

At the Karyakarta Mahotsav, volunteers were honoured for the exceptional contributions to the Mandir, recognizing their sincere dedication, devotion, and sacrifice over the years.

Members of the balika and kishori mandals created a unique exhibition showcasing inspiring messages of satsang.
