Pehredar, Punjabi Daily Newspaper Editor in Chief S,Jaspal Singh Heran passes away on Thursday after illness. Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan today expressed profound grief over the demise of S. Jaspal Singh Heran, the Chief Editor of Punjabi vernacular newspaper.

In an official statement released here, Speaker S. Sandhwan said that the news of the passing of S. Jaspal Singh Heran, editor-in-chief of “Pehredar”, is deeply saddening. S. Heran had been ailing for some time. S. Sandhwan noted that S. Heran had a distinguished career as a journalist with various Punjabi publications. He said that S. Heran would be remembered with reverence for his invaluable contributions to Panthic journalism.

The Speaker extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to endure this irreparable loss.
