IFFCO organized a workshop at Fazilka on awareness about nano fertilizers. The chief guest of the program was Rakesh Kumar Popli, Additional Deputy Commissioner. He said that farmers should be made more aware of the balanced use of fertilizers. He also appealed to the farmers to use chemical fertilizers and insecticides sprays only as per the recommended quantity.
Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies Sonu Mahajan was the special guest of the event. He gave detailed information about the properties of nano fertilizers here. Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies as well as all Cooperative Inspectors participated in the programme. Detailed information about nano fertilizer was shared.
Harmel Singh Sidhu, State Marketing Manager IFFCO, who arrived specially from Chandigarh, asserted that nano-fertilizers are the future of agriculture in India. Field Manager O. P. Punia and Jagjit Singh thanked all the guests.
