A case has come up in Ferozepur which has raised a huge question mark on the police functioning. While divulging details during the press conference in Press Club Ferozepur, Tarsem Lal a resident of Zira area said that in an incident which took place around four years ago, few mobile snatchers had snatched a mobile phone from a youth.
While narrating his tale of vows, Tarsem Lal said that he along with other person had nabbed the thieves and the entire incident was videographed on my mobile. “The police took my mobile in which the video was made on the pretext of evidences. When I asked for my mobile, the police provided me another mobile which was recovered in a theft case. Later, the original owner of the mobile identified his mobile and lodged a complaint against me in Talwandi Bhai police station and later the police took me under custody and beaten me”, said Tarsem
“Now I have been categorized as a thief myself. I have been running pillar to post to get justice but nobody is listening to me”, said Tarsem demanding that the action should be taken against those officials who are responsible for his present condition.
Kamal Malhotra President Press Club said that the PCF will fight for the justice for Tarsem.
