To achieve the target of 75 percent voting in Lok Sabha elections to be held on June 1, a spectacular cultural program was organized last evening at the local Nehru Park as part of voter awareness activities i.e. SVEEP.

Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Dr. Senu Duggal, while addressing the people present in large numbers, said that considering June 1 as a national festival, every person must reach the polling station and exercise their right. Even though this district has been leading in voting, this time we have to cross the target of 75 percent, she added.

In the program, Government Sr. Sec. School Diwankhera, Government Sr Sec Girls School, LRS DAV Sr Sec. Model School and Ravenwood International School inspired people to cast their vote without any fear and greed through street play, Giddha, Bhangra dances and choreography, the theme of all the items was related to SVEEP.

On the occasion, students were carrying placards giving important messages for voting. Selfie point was the center of attraction. Rajinder Singh Brar did impressive stage management. SDM Pankaj Bansal was also present.
