The Fazilka district police have made huge recoveries from Amandeep Kamboj alias Aman Skoda who was recently arrested in Varanasi.
Police officers said on Wednesday that cases had been registered against Skoda under Sections 307, 420, 384, 326, 365, 465, 467, 471, 120-B IPC & 66, 67 IT. A total of 39 cases were registered in different districts of Punjab state, including 21 in district Fazilka, 11 in Ferozepur, 3 in Moga, 2 in Patiala, 1 each in Fatehgarh Sahib and SAS Nagar (Mohali).
A Court at Fazilka had remanded him to police custody till 20.03.2024.
(SUBHEAD) During the interrogation of police remand accused Amandeep Kamboj alias Aman Skoda, his nephew Prince alias Praveen Kumar of Mandi Ladhuka, at present in Chak Punna Wali alias Khilchian, was arrested, from whom a licensed pistol .32 bore was recovered.
A case has been registered after arresting Prince alias Praveen Kumar who was illegally holding the pistol despite the expiry of his license in the year 2023. He was booked under Sections 25,27/54/89 of Arms Act. Two magazines and 13 live cartridges have also been recovered in this case.
Details of recoveries from Amandeep Kamboj alias Aman Skoda are: One Laptop Apple-MACBook Pro, 5 different mobile phones (2 Apple, 2 Samsung, 1 Redmi, 5 sim cards and 2 different Aadhaar cards.
