KABOOTERBAZI : ANIL VIJ HANDED OVER INVESTIGATION OF SEVERAL CASES OF FRAUD IN THE NAME OF SENDING PEOPLE ABROAD TO SIT

Haryana's Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij today, while redressing to the grievances of people of the state who came at residence of Home Minister in Ambala Cantonment, directed the concerned officials for action.

During the public hearing, some cases of fraud in the name of sending people abroad came to light, upon which Home Minister Anil Vij directed the SIT (Kabooterbazi) for investigation.

A complainant from Kurukshetra said that an agent had defrauded him of six lakh rupees in the name of sending him to New Zealand. Similarly, a youth from Kaithal was defrauded of five lakh rupees by an agent in the name of sending him to New Zealand.

A complainant from Kaithal said that agents defrauded him of four lakh rupees in the name of sending his brother to England. Likewise, a woman from Kurukshetra said that an agent defrauded her of ten lakh rupees in the name of sending her to Italy. Home Minister Anil Vij directed the SIT to investigate all these cases.(SUBHEAD)

A woman from Ambala accused her husband and in-laws of domestic violence, upon which the Home Minister directed the SP, Ambala for action. A family from Jind informed the Home Minister that the way to their house has been blocked by some people. Home Minister Anil Vij directed the SP, Jind for action.

Similarly, a woman from Fatehabad complained about no action being taken in a harassment case, a family from Ambala complained about fraud in the name of a plot, a woman from Hisar was defrauded of 16.50 lakh rupees in the name of property purchase, a complainant from Hisar alleged that the culprits in a theft case were not arrested, a woman from Fatehabad complained about not getting the plot registered despite paying the full amount to the property dealer, and other complaints were brought to the attention of Home Minister Anil Vij, upon which he directed the concerned officials for action.

Lawyers from Dabwali submitted a memorandum to the Home Minister

Several lawyers from Dabwali submitted a memorandum to Home Minister Anil Vij demanding the establishment of a permanent Additional Sessions Judge Court in Dabwali. Additionally, they also demanded equal distribution of resources to villages by the Sirsa and Dabwali police. The Home Minister assured the lawyers of action in the matter.
