8TH ARMED FORCES VETERANS DAY CELEBRATED

The 8th Armed Forces Veterans Day was commemorated with great reverence in Jaipur on Sunday.

The day commenced with a Wreath Laying ceremony at Amar Jawan Jyoti in Jaipur city. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and the General Officer Commanding in Chief of South Western Command, Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth laid wreaths to honour the fallen soldiers. 

To commemorate the ‘Veterans Day’, the Governor of Rajasthan, Kalraj Mishra graced his presence at Jaipur Military Station. In a solemn ceremony, the Governor and Lt General Dhiraj Seth laid wreaths at Prerna Sthal, paying homage to the indomitable spirit and sacrifice of our war heroes. This heartfelt tribute acknowledged the selfless service rendered by these bravehearts for the nation. 

(SUBHEAD)Following the wreath-laying ceremony, the Governor interacted with Veterans and Veer Naris at the Sapta Shakti Auditorium in Jaipur Military Station and extended gratitude for their esteemed services. The Governor reaffirmed unwavering support and commitment towards the Veteran community of the Armed Forces. 

The events at Jaipur Military Station witnessed enthusiastic participation from Veterans, Veer Naris and their families. The celebration exemplified the enduring bond between the Armed Forces, civil administration & the Veterans.
