The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested the accused Reader to ASJ-02, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from the complainant in a bribery case..
The CBI registered the instant case on 23.04.2026 against the said accused based on a complaint. It was alleged that the accused Reader demanded a bribe of Rs. 30,000 from the complainant for facilitating the allowance of the bail application of her client.
The CBI laid a trap on 23.04.2026 and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting of Rs. 20,000 as part payment out of total bribe of Rs. 30,000 from the complainants. The aforesaid accused person has been arrested.Further investigation is under way.
