JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATED AT RAJYOGA BHAWAN WITH FERVOUR AND GAIETY

A spectacular cultural program was organized by Brahma Kumaris on the occasion of Shri Krishan Janmashtami at Raj Yoga Bhawan here. The first woman Mayor of Abohar Municipal Corporation Pooja Wadhwa was the chief guest. Center in-charge BK Pushplata, BK Darshana, BK Sunita and BK Shalu welcomed the Mayor and her husband Naresh Wadhwa.

Mehak, Kavya, Pihu, Bhavya, Aagya and Sayra dazzled with their devotional song-based dances, all the spectators present in the packed hall were in awe. The stage became live with children dressed in the costume of Shri Krishna. Before the finale, the songs on which all the artists together made the atmosphere joyful by performing a group dance. Ahhan, Aadya, Azynah, Garvit, Bhoomika, Kiyana and Sayra in attires of religious dignitaries were of key attraction at the stage.

Mayor Pooja Wadhwa, describing the event as wonderful, appreciated the dance art of the children. She said that if we imbibe the message given by Shri Krishna to act with good spirit and not desire for the fruits, then many evils prevailing in the society will be removed. She honoured the participants.

On the occasion, Mayor Pooja Wadhwa, Naresh Wadhwa, former Mayor Vimal Thatai and Lekhak Parishad president Raj Sadosh were felicitated with godly gifts. BK Sunita highlighted the importance of Shri Krishan Janmashtami in our cultural heritage
