The construction of Akshardham temple by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in Jodhpur, Rajasthan moves towards completion. The consecration will be done on 25th September.
BAPS, a global spiritual, cultural and social organization, was established in 1907 on the basis of Vedic principles. Currently, under the guidance of Param Pujya Mahant Swami Maharaj, this institution is spreading the message of human welfare, service, Sanskar and spirituality all over the world.
(SUBHEAD) On the historical land of Jodhpur, in Kali Beri area, the construction work of a grand Akshardham temple by the BAPS is in its final stage. This divine abode is spread over about 40 bighas of land. Its entire construction is being done with Jodhpuri stone, in which very beautiful craftsmanship and carving has been done, which brings alive the dignity of the ancient Sanatan culture. Unique artworks done on the walls, pillars and domes of the temple will give a new dimension to the cultural heritage of Marudhara.
The Pratishtha Mahotsav will be held on 25th September by Mahant Swami ji Maharaj. A grand inauguration ceremony will be held in the evening. During the 7-day Mahotsav, Mahant Swami Maharaj himself will be present. Lakhs of devotees are expected to arrive from India and abroad.
This grand Akshardham will be a flag bearer of ancient Sanatan culture not only in Jodhpur but in the entire Marwar. This Dham will infuse a new life in the desert by becoming a source of inspiration of spirituality, culture and service for the coming generations.
